Nordfab Ducting has released the In-line Spark Trap 2.0, an updated version that uses flow design analysis technology to quench sparks generated by welding and grinding.
When installed in a dust collection system vertically or horizontally, the unit helps reduce the possibility of fire in cyclones and collectors by decreasing the number of sparks that reach these units through the ductwork.
Part of the company’s Quick-Fit clamp-together ducting product line, the trap requires no rivets, screws, or welding. It has no moving parts, and pressure loss is minimal.
