Faccin Group hosts tank and pressure vessel heads webinar

Javier Lanfranchi, senior sales manager of Faccin Group, sat down with metal forming machine specialist, Rino Boldrini, and other members of the Faccin team to highlight the company’s innovation and sustainability efforts that are embodied in the three brands Faccin, Boldrini, and Roundo.

The webinar looks at some of the challenges many companies around the world faced during this pandemic, especially as it relates to outsourcing and supply chain issues.

“In the last decade many industries have organized their supplies by outsourcing from the market,” said Boldrini. “When the market collapsed many companies could not follow production schedule and supply chains were not performing. Outsourcing can be risky in this market condition. At Faccin we have a vertical integration…it was a wise decision to keep vital and critical production stages inside [the company]. This has allowed us to keep working and acquired new orders.”

Boldrini adds that the demand for dish head manufacturers has boomed in the last few months and many companies are overwhelmed with their deliveries so there is this shift in mindset focusing more on manufacturing locally and an increase in interest in bringing processes in house.

The Faccin team takes time to explain the various machine options available to tank and pressure vessels head manufacturers and how to find the best technology to meet current applications and market needs. The webinar outlines how companies can take advantage of the latest tech trends in dished head lines, dished heads hot forming process, hydroforming special dished ends, manufacturing heavy duty dished head lines, dishing presses and manipulators, and aluminum dished heads forming.

At the end of the webinar Lanfranchi takes time to ask Boldrini questions on viewers’ minds including questions about various machine capacity and design specifications, tooling options, controls for thinning reduction, die changeover issues and speed, recording of production time and costs, and pressing different plate thickness at the same time.
